CUSTOMISING A BLOG THEME
Congratulations!!! IN previous lesson,we looked at creating our own blog! hope you did it correctly with some ease... If you didn't do it,we beg you,don't keep on this post,as what we are going to cover here will be carried on your dashboard.
Having done it,we see,now you'll be learning by experience,and obviously a great deal!
now,we don't wan't your mates to keep laughing on your sites's ulgliness! the theme is the foundation of the overall appearance of your blog...so Don't keep startled,follow step-by-step of our guide to keep yourself out of the crowd!
once you be in your dashboard,scrow down and of your dashboard and click on theme!... The first thing we're going to look at is a theme background :THE BACKGROUND!
THIS is the very first thing we will look at in our theme series... The theme's background is crucial because it governs the entire background of your blog! Once you click on theme,click on customise theme. you will see four main links,say- background
- adjust width
- layout
- advanced
Click on the background...and you are able to see the
- background image and
- main color theme
The background image is an image provided by the theme creater...however,you might wish to provide your own.
The main color theme is the overall color of your background!
you may however choose color according to your taste... if you don't want to make any change,just click use default background and colors button... hence we're done on theme background...
Next to look will be the adjust width...
ADJUST WIDTH
WE do but congratulate you nevertheless having done some more with background! Now you will be adjusting the bandwidth!... just under background,that's where bandwidth do abide its dwelling! Wait not! click on it and you shall see two bars that appears like this...
