Customizing Blog Theme

LINKS

Welcome once again to the third notion of our theme tutorials!

In the previous lesson,we looked at other drop downs of the theme's advanced button... In this tutorials,we will work with the remaining drop down,in this case links

The links drop down governs how the links on your blog will be looking like! The usual drop down of this kick are link text, link color, link hover color and link visited color

  • link text
  • : governs on the text of all your links.choose the text family of your desire.
  • link color
  • : This is the actual color of all your links,non-hovered and non-visited!
  • link hover color
  • :this is the color that shows when you hover over the link,ie move the mouse over.
  • link visited color
  • : looks on how the links will look when you visit them,ie mouse click...

BLOG TITLE

This can even be heard by looking on the name itself, loll, this guide on the title of your blog... The reasonable example of blog title is amin internationals above! THIS ONE contains fonts and colors drop down...and the fonts are the fonts we've already spoken of,so many times back. The colour,by other hand is the actual color of the title itself...

BLOG DESCRIPTION

This is the description of your blog that goes along with your blog title... satisfactory example is amin internationals' "widening access to online learning and global openness" It too comes up with fonts and colours This are all the same as those we've already discussed above...

POST TITLE

The title of each and every post on your blog...coming with colour and font as well!

all these are just the same usage as those we've already talked of all the way along!

DATE RIBBON

This is a ribbon that is built to the left of all this blog's posts... for identification,it contains the date on it! it comes with colors and fonts as well, where you can choose one,of your interest!

ADD CSS

Unbelievable! This marks the end of all our theme's customization... This is the place where we add custom css into our blog! you can write your css's from here that will be used to design your site...

PRESENTED BY : AMIN MATOLA. Now that you've mastered working with your theme, and we hope you brought no gotchas in that scene, the next thing we will do is to start writing our posts...
