Introduction To Computer
Back to 1940s , the computers are known to be the major invention of the world. With this in mind, it can be seen that the computer is capable of doing lots of stuff beyond our imagination. Its development has a good background, dating back to early 21st centuries , and the development holds and will hold for keeps.
But What Is a Computer Specificallysimply explained, a computer is merely a device which can recieve data, process it into information and give an Output
BRIEF HISTORY OF COMPUTERS
Smashing history of this advanced performance machine dates back,as already sad to 19th century by an english mathematician, professor Charles Babbage. Professor Babbage, who is considered a father of computer originated the concept of programmable computers, whreby as of 1833,he came to know that there was a desire to make a more sophisticated design and analytic after working with the difference engine. As of 1942,the world saw the emerging of the first automated electronic digital computer, using circa 300 vacuums with the capacitors.
The clossum was the first programmable computer, lately at point used to break Germany Cipher Codes at World War II.As though this was not quite enough, there came other devices lately, ie ENIAC, of the United States. It was of high speed plus programmable capabilities. ABC etc.
MODERN MICRO-COMPUTERS
Modern Computers use much sophisticated processing powers, and highly programmable, plus use alot of memory space. The Vacuums and the likes which occupied lots of space now is a matter of a simple box. See the image 1.3 below...
This in fact shows a great improvement in computing world. The vacuums are now grouped in a single Chip, which renders major functionalities even than before.
Comparison of Old Computers and Nowaday Comps.
ACIENT | NOW |
---|---|
Occupied lots of Space | Have small space |
Had Small processing Speed | Performs at High Speed |
Had Small Memory | Can store trillions of information |
Sup, I guess you feel it matches a better introduction to keep you started... Kindly, hit the button below to go deep down your computing powers...
